Description: Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. (NGSG), a premier provider of natural gas compression equipment renowned for its innovative products, cutting-edge design, and superior service, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Pecos, TX.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain inventory and production schedule for make readies and rebuilds of compressors and engines.
- Request parts required for jobs and ensures that parts are issued to all jobs in a timely manner.
- Update the production schedule with accurate dates.
- Assist in requisitions for material.
- Open, process and close jobs.
- Collaborates with other departments and staff to draft and execute budgets for assigned projects.
- Coordinates and manages all aspects of assigned projects to ensure timely completion within available budget.
- Attends planning and development meetings and other events involving business operations as needed.
- Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
- Discretion and independent judgment and decision making for appropriate equipment selection and deployment per customer job.
- Assist with the coordinating, scheduling, and communicating information to shop and field personnel, as well as organizing and tracking relevant information according to customer demands.
- Preparing forms from billings, statements, invoices receipts, or vendor data, including processing tickets and entering details for customers using different billing procedures.
- Answer incoming phone calls and/or inquiries, maintaining and providing positive and effective service to both internal and external customers.
- Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience with engines and compressor parts used in Natural Gas Compressor packages.
- Interpersonal communication skills are required to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors.
- Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervision.
- Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office Software.
- Weekend and after hours work occasionally required.
Physical Requirements & Duties:
- Field Work: The position will require regular travel to and from the field, which may involve working in varying weather conditions, including hot and/or cold days.
- Heavy Lifting: The role involves frequent heavy lifting and physical labor. Items such as the 8D Batteries (approximately 128 lbs.) and 3516 Heads (approximately 78 lbs.) must be movedbetween the warehouse and field.
- Must be able to lift and carry these items, as well as perform other physical tasks as needed to support field operations.
